The smoke and heat extraction systems, defined as “SmokExpel” produced by ICMP have the aim of creating  inside a building an area free from smoke in order to make it easier to evacuatepeople and the intervention  of rescue squads and also to reduce the temperature inside the building, and so limit the thermal stress and delay the flash over.

 The Smoke and heat extraction System “SmokExpel” is realised in compliance with the law in force  EN 12101-2.

The SmokExpel  is made up of a roof-dome, an opening device and a basements.

• The roof-dome is realised according to the customer’s demand in PMMA “Plexiglas” or in compact polycarbonate or with blind anels (see monolithic roof-dome)
• The opening device is the hearth of the “SmokExpel”, realised to allow, in case of fire, the  overturning up to 160°
• The basement contributes  with its dimension and shape to  the efficiency of the extraction, and  it can be equipped of a anti alling and anti intruder grid, to offer a greater, higher security during periodic maintenance operation(see basements)
• In order to give a better response to any request made by companies or designers who are attentive to research and avant-guarde products, ICMP is also able to supply:

• Smoke and heat extraction systems with device embedded in their profile,
• Smoke and heat extraction systems with foils.
• Smoke and heat extraction systems used upon masonry, on locking and on continuous fronts.

All these Smoke and heat extraction systems can have different measurements in compliance with architectural  frames and modules.
